In response to a tragic incident on Thursday evening, a section of west London has been subjected to a stop-and-search directive after a fatal stabbing occurred.
Authorities were alerted to a disturbance involving several men on Reynolds Road in Hayes at approximately 18:50 BST. Upon arrival, they discovered a man who had sustained multiple stab wounds. Despite receiving prompt medical attention from paramedics, the victim tragically succumbed to his injuries at the location.
The Metropolitan Police disclosed that no arrests have been made thus far, and investigations are actively underway. As a precautionary measure, a stop-and-search order has been implemented in the vicinity until Friday evening.
A spokesperson for the police force affirmed the continued presence of a designated crime scene and ongoing efforts to locate and inform the victim’s next of kin.
